Full course description

The 2020 Census is critical for determining the representation of and resources for everyone in the United States, especially populations regularly served by social workers. The census count helps inform decisions made to allocate much needed federal dollars for services that reach every neighborhood, including funding for community development grants, nutrition programs and health resources. Beyond services, an accurate census will serve as the basis for apportionment of congressional seats. This course will explore the importance of the 2020 Census, and how health and human service workers and agencies can ensure a complete and accurate count.

This training is available to the public at no cost until 9/30/20.
